A message from Ken at TLC, regarding COVID 19 Pandemic

TLC is working at about 60% capacity in Idaho. Landscaping, maintenance, and pest control are listed as essential businesses in Idaho as of March 25th, and we are working. I have decided to suspend office work, to eliminate the risk of close contact with secretaries and admin assistants. That means I am doing the job of two part-timers, in addition to my own, and many tasks are delayed. Thanks for your patience, waiting for callbacks and estimates. We’ll be fully staffed in the office as soon as it is safe to be.

We are moving forward with spring cleaning, mowing, fertilizing, weed spraying, and pest control. I have suspended pruning and landscaping (things like rock and bark, planting). Some of my staff have immuno-compromised family members and we have adjusted to having them work solo whenever possible.

In Washington, landscapers were not considered essential in the governor’s edict, but the Whitman County Sheriff did his own research and has told us we are allowed to come work. As of 4/7, we’ve resumed work in Pullman.

We’ve been informally checking up and running an errand or two for some of my long time elderly customers. I don’t exactly have a system set up for this, but if we can help you or an elderly loved one during this time, let me know, we’ll see what we can do.
